I'm having problems with the tool on a particular DVD back-up. It gets through the stripping . . it abends during the "correcting navigation packets"
It abends everytime at about 3/4 of the way through the process. I've run both the new and older version.
I've tried re-ripping with file mode - the exception is at offset 0136a0
ANy ideas? I look for something that is unique about this back-up. This does appear to have mult-angles, although I checked angle-1.
I did run the analyze process, although it doesn't update the actual field.
Any ideas?

I also experienced the same problem with another DVD (ABBA) that I tried to backup. DVDToolbox abended a few seconds after completing the spiltting step. DVDToolbox shows two PGCs with each one about 02:16:06 in length. The estimated size is about 6.147GB. It did look like the splitting went ok but never created the IFO and BUP files. The DVDToolbox software (freeware)from CopyToDVD has no problem ripping and splitting this DVD.

I'm a bit confused about you problems !
DVDToolbox should work fine.
Please do always remember, you have to rip
with DVDDecrypter in filemode first !!!

@ the mods:
maybe this thread doesn´t have to be a sticky any more,
or should get an updated title.

Looks like the new version of dvdfab is almost out now. version 1.0 beta 1. As of today they show it on their website, but not for download yet. It doesn't say when unfortunately.

Quick question: what is the status of dvdtoolbox? Did Joerg retire? How come Mrbass withdrew his guide for the program?
