44100 Hz as input is now supported.
it's now possible to transcode VideoDisc DTS stream (44100hz) !
autodetection will be released later. For instance you have to
select manualy the input frequency.
note: DirectShow Filters can show wrong frequency, especially for
Intervideo Audio Decoder. This is why Input Frequency autodetection
is not simple. I will put my own AC3/DTS/WAV/AVI parser to perform
this recognition in future release.

Nice! Do you (or someone else) have a test dts track (a voice telling which channel is which)?

when ever I try to install hypercube, I get an error message:
The contents of this files cannot be unpacked. The exectable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of the file, verify its integrity and try again.
I downloaded it from your website (http://hypercube.is.dreaming.org) and tryed the two latest versions, still the same thing. What should I do?

my provider break the download when it is too long.
you have to use a download manager (flashget for example)
with HTTP restart.
this is what I'm saying on the download page

Hi hypercube,
I tried this one but still got problems:
Ive extracted a DTS (48khz) file from a VOB - then tried to
downsample (44.1khz) and split into 6 single mono WAVs -
afterwards I gave those monofiles to surcode DVD (input 44.1) to transform into a DTSWAV.
ERROR - sampling rate did not fit
I got this error before with an older version too -> the sampling rate is to low (about 44.099hz, so my analysis)
Do you know the reason for this
CYA Daphy
PS: if I find the time this weekend, I will feet your database with some hardware checks - I thought about KiSS DP450, Yamaha A2 and two other DVD Player (Philips/Cyberhome) :sly:

ERROR - sampling rate did not fit
you mean surcode reject the files or the result is
at wrong speed (sync lost) ?
I don't have Surce DVD so I can't make some tests...
you can open your WAVs in cooledit to see their
samplerate...
are you sure your WAVs are at 44100 Khz ?
with HT3.0.3 you have to check 48kh as input and
44100khz as output.

Hi hypercube,
the main difference between thoses two surcode versions is the support of diffrent input sampling rates. With other words, you can choose between 44.1/48 but no sampling up/down is possible ;) .
Back to the problem:
Im still at work but Ill reproduce this error this afternoon and give you a link to the (small) test files, maybe this would help more than any writen explenations, ok ?
