German Posting

Hi to all,

I'm very sorry for the German posting before. Silly cut&paste action of mine. (posted that also in the German usenet ..)

For Backup purposes I would like to write a single file with the size of 4.3GB onto a DVD-R. (to split it with WinRAR or so is no option in this case.)
My System is WinXP with NTFS, so the filesize is no problem on the HD. Since the ISO filesystem does not support files >4GB I know I have to use UDF.

Anyway Prassi PrimoDVD does not let me drag&drop the file into the project, also WinOnCD 6.0 DVD Edition with Patch does not work.

So anyone burned a file > 4GB on a DVD?

Is there a program to create an image from the 4.3GB file first that is than accepted by PrimoDVD or so?
(commandline tool would be fine here because there are a lot of big files that want to be backuped)

thnx for any suggestions.

Hi again,

just to tell you my solution ...

WinOnCD works if you turn off the write cache, which does not make
much sense with one large file anyway.
