Hi!
I'm rather new to this, but here's the deal.
I'm trying to make an DVD of a bunch of TV-captured .mpg files. So far I've merged them all into a single .mpg file with TMPG and so far so good. But when I'm trying to encode them it always stop at the exact same frame with the error message:
"Write error occurred at address 00487C2A of module 'TMPGEnc.exe' with 02F7A000"

This is probably the fifth time or so I've tried to encode. I've read some here in this forum that it can be that the file is corrupted or wrong, but it dosen't seem to be wrong when playing it. How do I test if the .mpg file is corrupted?? Can I repair the file if it's something wrong with it. I've also read that you can change the format with some program, and I'm going to try this.

Another question, the little encoded file I get (it always stops at 11% so I can watch it to that point) has some strange aspect ratio when playing in windows media player. I've read somewhere that it could looked f**ked up playing it in mediaplayer because this dosen't support the encoded file (or something..). Is this correct? My set-up is first 4:3, since it's captured TV, and then "Full screen, keep aspect ratio". Is this the right way?

Well.. ok.. I appreciate all the help I can get!
