Date and time on a video 8 recording ?

I am currently converting my old analog video 8 tapes to dv using my sony-dcr-pc120 as a a/d converter.
Is there a way to find out when the video8-tapes where recorded ?
Does the video 8 format store those informations on tape, as, for example, dv ?

Any hint is highly appreciated !
