Right now I do a lot of MPEG-1 encoding used in PowerPoint presentations. That works but people can't use the slider in Media Player to navigate through a video. Installing recent codecs isn't a reasonable option.
That leaves the default codecs from Windows 98 as my baseline. Which are suggested for encoding to give near-MPEG1 size/quality but also position slider support with Media Player 6.4?
