Hey,

I want to re-encode my video again in CCE, because it came out too small in size. I'm going to use a slightly higher bitrate this time. I wouldn't want to re-add the subtitles and audio tracks in Scenarist because of this. Is it possible to only replace the video file (.mpv) in Scenarist and keep everything else in place and get it to work? Are there any tips & tricks concerning this operation?

Thx :)

You might be able to edit your original script file and import that into scenarist? Never tried it but should work.

Or maybe name your new file exactly as you old one, place it in the same directory and throw away teh file scenarist created when checking (*.vif?).

Influenza is correct. U can just replace the file with the new one having the exact same name and replace the old one assuming that u have not changed the I-frames position at all and ofcourse have Scenarist recreate its vif file by deleting the old one.

Thanks guys! I will do what you instructed :)

PS. I was surprised I didn't find threads on this topic with search words like "replace", "video", "scenarist".. Thx again ;)
