toshiba speed limit removed

for those with toshiba drives, finally some nice guys have removed the speed limit from toshibas 1612 and 1712 drives.

i get around 4x-10x for dual layer dvds.
theres also no speed limit for dvd+-r/rw anymore.

I dont own one of the drives but playing with firmware has always interested me.... I just dont have clue what I'm doing!

Now if you really want to help us (me?!)... patch the one for the Sony 500AX drive!

There are people working on Sony firmwares... But they are HEAVILY ENCRYPTED.

So go and blame Sony for it.
