Hello hello, ok here's my prob.

I have backup'd Spiderman PAL DVD to my HD and I want to make SVCD out of it (with changeable subtitles).

Problem is that I have encoded and made the movie into SVCD .MPG now with TMPGEnc and when I play it on my standalone DVD-player, it is jerky. Chapters aren't working and no subtitles are shown, they don't just work.

Ok, the main prob. is the jerkiness, because I think that when I solve that problem, I'll get chapters and subtitles to work too.

BTW. I have tried to play NTSC SVCD's on my standalone, no jerkiness.

Any suggestions?

Info :
- Encoded with TMPGEnc 25fps as 4:3 (AMorpf)
- Sound 2-chan (encoded by DVD2SVCD)
- Standalone = Sony NS410 [PAL - NTSC Compatible]
- Tested CDRW in PowerDVD XP => no jerkiness
- Tested straight file in Media Player => no jerkiness
- Burned @ Verbatim CD-RW => 10x 8x and 4x. [same conclusions]
- Tried to burn with Nero - EasyVCD - CDRWin

This is my first SVCD so I don't think I have tried it all, suggestions needed :)
