Hi,
I just wanted to update my A104 with the new 1.41 firmware, when I read this on the Pioneer Page:
"These updates are specific to DVD-R/RW For General Version 2.0 media use.
If you are using older DVD-R for general Version 1.1 media it is recommended that you use up all this media before updating the firmware as after doing so this media may no longer be recognised by the writer or writing software being used. After the FW update only use DVD-R/RW For General Version 2.0 media."
So, can someone tell me please, how I know if a DVD-R is according to the 1.1 or 2.0 standard ?
Has it something to do with the writing speed ? (e.g. v1.1 = 1x only; v2.0 = 2x or higher)
Thanks in Advance
