I've been trying to encode an XVID movie to a standard VCD 2.0
I've been running into several problems here and there. I recently tried a new method though. I changed the plugin features of TMPG and then encode the entire video with audio etc.
This solved my biggest problem yet. The audio was exactly in sync as the movie. The quality of the video was even amazing. The only problem that was left was the fact that the entire audio in the movie was choppy. Why was this?
I take it that my movie probably has AC3 audio in it. I have previously went through the entire method to make the AC3 audio into an MP2 file. Then I multiplex the video and audio but the audio is a bit off from the movie and only gets worse.
After the MPEG was created with the 1st method, I noticed that the audio was a stream filter or something. FFDSHOW i believe. Did this cause the problem or what? BTW, has anybody encoded the ************ to VCD yet? Any info will help.
