Not valid DVD2Avi project

Hi I just encoded a movie last night and everything worked fine. I used robot4rip to do the dvdavi stuff and the audio encoding. I tried to encode the movie at a better bitrate this morning but GKnot kept on crashing so i reinstalled it. After re-installing i tried to open the project i created with robot4rip but it gave me a "File is not a valid dvd2avi project (v. 1.76), avi or avs file.

Now I've gotten this error b4 and it was b/c i tried using a later version of dvd2avi. I even made a new project seperate from the robot4rip and it still gave me this error. Can anyone help?

What I did was download dvd2avi from the Doom9.org website and install it in a different folder. I created with it and it worked with GK. So maybe there's something wrong with the new RipPack that came out? Or maybe something wrong with my computer? The old dvd2avi's still dont work but the new one does.
