After DOCCE4U runs all that is left is a 1kb .M2V file

I ripped the movie with DIF4U, and ran it through DOCCE4U. It looks like everything is working (except it only takes about an hour and a half..the same time as a 1 pass VBR. When everything finishes, i end up with a 1kb.m2v file. that's it. The file is names VTS__01_P01.4~3_1.nopull.mpv.m2v. I do not have DOCCE4U doing the pulldown, and I do not have the flag set to have DOCCE4U delete the MPV file. I dont know what I am doing wrong. Any ideas? Below is the log file from DOCCE4U.

Well, reading yor logfile it creates the .vaf file then it crashes. You may want to try installing DC4U 1.0.1.2 and reinstalling 1.0.1.3. You can find all of them here (http://docce4u.panthersden.com) .

I tried installing 1.0.1.2 and it seems to be working.. I'll let you know in 1.5 hours when it finishes it's first pass though. Iwonder what is happening here. This is the first time i;ve tried to use docce4u, but it seems it may be something with 1.0.1.3..

I ahve the same problem.

I updated to 1.0.1.3 last night and set a single job to encode overnight. When I checked this morning it had created the .vaf as normal and then give me a 1KB .mpv movie file and the log file said the encode process was complete.

I was running late for work this morning, so I didn't get a chance to investigate further yet, but reading the original post above just now I recognised it as being the same as that happened to me.

(sorry I can't post the log file as I'm at work now).

I might try un-installing and going back to 1.0.1.2 to see if that makes any difference.

EDIT: Also using CCE 2.50

I got same problem also with 1.0.1.3 and CCE 2.50

I having been having problems in the past the open dialog box, so I installed 1.0.1.3 and watched the process closely to see if everything went okay. It ran the first Roba part and completed with no problems and took approx 45 mins, however the second part completed in a matter of seconds, so I just stopped the program. I didn't have time to investigate further as it was 1:30am when this happened so I went to bed.

Well, Just thought I'd let you know that it worked like a champ with 1.0.1.2. Same versions of avsynth, cce, etc. The only thing I changed was DoCCE4u

It's DoCCE4U 1.0.1.3. Use 1.0.1.2 until it's fixed.

Well, I am running 1.0.1.3 with no problems what so ever. Reinstalling 1.0.1.2 then installing 1.0.1.3 over the top of it sometimes resolves the issues. Or stick with 1.0.1.2 :)

Sounds like it is CCE 2.50 and DoCCE4U 1.0.1.3..I'll try a different ver of CCE and see how that works..no biggie though. 1.0.1.2 works fine for now..

hmmm.. after uninstaling 1.0.1.3 and reeinstalling 1.0.1.2 all Templates are gone :( .. what can i do to get them back ??? There is no Robshot Template or a Multipass VBR Template anymore .. damn

Check out the registry: Hkey/Current User/Software/WoofSoft/DoCCE4u/templates

There are several folders. (0,1,2...). Each folder contains the settings for the specific templates.

0 should be Roba. Now open the first key in folder "0" and rename it to RoBa. Same thing in the other folder, "1" should be Multipass VBR, and so on.

Don't know anymore exactly the names of all templates, but the first one is RoBa. It doesn't matter anyhow which names you give them as long as this "name key" isn't empty.

There is a bug in the setup of DoCCE4U 1.0.1.3 and BBWoof already knows about that.

Good morning everyone. Just woke up and checked my overnight encoding after switching back to 1.0.1.2.

Perfect.

Must be some issue for me with 1.0.1.3.

I'll stick with trusty ole 1.0.1.2 for now as it's working great for me.

PS - you gotta love these lazy Saturday mornings. I know I do. :D

I have the same problem... but this one is with a fresh install of DoCCE4U ver. 1.0.1.4 Beta.

Reading all this I'll try ver 1.0.1.2 Beta and see what happens

i tried to encode a movie this night with the 1.0.1.4 ... and i still have the same problem with CCE 2.50 ...
just to understand what causes this problem ???
