Encoded MPG freeze at a specific frame!!

I stream dumped, saved the .mpg as .d2v and loaded it up with TMPGEnc.. Encoded it with the SVCD PAL settings and the encode processes went fine, except that when it gets to a frame at the half of the video the playback just freezes and only the sound keeps going.

I tried restart the computer and re-encode but nothing works, it's always at this one specific frame this happends..
Is there any solution to this? or anyway to avoid it? I don't see anything wrong with the sources file either.

Maybe there are bad frames or s/t else? Does the source play well?

If it is a stream then you should convert it to PS (programmstream) with PVAStrumento 2.0.23a (http://www.offeryn.de/dv.htm).

Yep, the source is fine.

Yeah, I use a DVB-C card and it's a .mpg stream, I have the option to stream it directly too .pva format(using ProgDVB), is it better than .mpg? And does TMPGEnc support .pva files?

TMGPEnc should support pva format, but the streamed files are optimized for "streaming" and it is better to convert it to "programstream" bevor encoding. Some people don't and it works fine.

Everything IS "MPG" format, but there are different types of MPG! I don't know if pva is better if you have the option to get it in direct MPG files. You have a better handling with MPG files.
