DoItFast4U 1.1.1 detects aspect ratio wrong?

I'm trying to use DoItFast4U 1.1.1 to convert a few movies from DVD-9 to DVD-5, and the movie I'm working on now is DieHard 1 NTSC widescreen.

The movie is widescreen (can clearly see this) but for some reason both DoItFast4U as well as DVD2AVI which it executes internally, think it's a 4x3 movie.

Anyone know why this is so?

the first edition of Die Hard is 4:3, not 16:9. Widescreen != 16:9, you can have letterboxed widescreen which has an aspect ratio of 4:3. Here's more about that subject: http://www.doom9.org/aspectratios.htm
