View Full Version : no timecode: is it DVD decrypter or DVD-lab

Hi,

When I export (3.1.6.0) to M2V/AC3 and import into DVD-lab (1.0512) some files show timecode that sticks on all zeroes. Setting the option to patch to 00 makes no difference. It makes chapters impossible to set.

Is this a problem with the file DVD-decrpytor produces or with DVD-lab.

Thanks,
Mike.

I had the same problem. Demuxing *.pva file with PVAStrumento to elementary stream and read this by DVDlab I have got time code with negative value i.e. "-13.-5.-19" and like in your case it is impossible to set chapters.
I have to add that has non-DVD compilant resolutions 480x576.

I have imported the same file (but header patched to 352x576) into Movie Factory 2 and there was possible to set chapters but MF2 read that file longer that usual.

I don't have orginal *.pva file to test other soft for demuxing. So I am only informing you about similar situation.
