Hi there,
BR might remember my last post and I don`t know how to thank him.Right now I`m trying convert a 16:9 DVD to SVCD using DVD2SVCD ver. 1.1.3 Build 2 and CCE ver.2.66.01.07 with EcclCCE ver. 1.4a,and I want the result aspect to be exctly the same as the Original DVD.I`ve tried BR`s AutofitCD,it did not help, and trial and error would take me a life time.

@UltarDBZ, I`ve read the "Cinemacraft"`s Post "16:9 Aspec Ratio Svcd", but I could not get a definite answer. It would be appreciated if you don`t mock us, I -at least- am a rookie, and looking for help.
So would someone pls write a Dummy guide for me about how to preserve the exact aspect ratio, or even if it possible at all regardless of your TV?????

@BR On the Misc tab, set DVD2SVCD level to Advanced and you'll be able to select "16:9 (no borders, encoded as 16:9)" on the Conversion tab.
It`s a part of your reply to "Cinemacraft", but I`m not able to find this option.
Regardz,

Uhm, it's RB by the way... :)

Well, it's the purpose of AutoFitCD to accurately keep the aspect ratio. Don't get fooled by the stretched preview, DVD2SVCD displays it in the native SVCD resolution of 480x480/576. When viewed on TV/software player it will be stretched horizontally and look OK.

Also, the SVCD standard supports 4:3 aspect ratio only, that's why a 16:9 DVD source gets scaled and black borders are added on top and bottom to get a 4:3 picture after all. There are very few DVD players that support 16:9 anamorphic SVCDs. If you want to try it, set DVD2SVCD level to Advanced on the Misc tab and then on the Conversion tab, select "Anamorphic( no borders, encoded as 16:9)" for Aspect Ratio. Then bring up the AutoFitCD preview.
