Looking for a new card, obviously, detail/picture quality is most important thing, along with WDM drivers (capping in iuVCR).

I only need S-Video. Can people give me a starting point. I know about most of the cards on the market, but I dont need all their extras. No tuning capability, only HQ S-Video. I am thinking the soloution is TVXP2000 from leadtek. But this has tuning, adding to the cost of the card. All I want is a simple card, but with high quality.

I already have a MSITV@anywhere, I am bored with it now:), it was a good card, but this specific one has a lot of S-Video noise, which just wont do, for composite, it worked a treat, but the S-Video noise, which I now know is from the card is annoying the hell out of me. My budget is abotu 40 quid. If I have to, I will get the TVXP2000 Deluxe from Novetech: http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/Components/a2b23c0d0e0 But I would like to hear about other options. "PixelView PlayTV HD" looks kinda cool. I know it is virtually the same as the MSI, I am hoping that this one wont have S-Video noise in the same way. People can see samples on my other recent thread (noise via S-VHS).

Hope to hear from you all soon.

I would ideally like a list of cards that may be useful. Anything new on the horizon that would be worth waiting for. As some of you may know, I have been out of the capturing loop at the moment. Used to be, one of the big players, around christmas>feb. Then work caught up with me.

Just incase it isn't the card, which under testing seems to be the problem, I have a new SKY Box on auction almost ready, S-Video Grundig 2000. I am not getting it specifically for this problem, I am getting a load and intend to fix them up and sell them on:)

Cheers
