???AVI to DVD using DVD2SVCD software

I've recently bought a DVD writer and wish to convert my avi files onto DVD. I have always used the DVD2SVCD software to convert my avi files into svcd and then to burn them onto ordinary cd discs. I therfore wondered if I can still use this programme to convert my avi files into a dvd format to burn onto 4.7gb discs. Do I alter anything in the Resize tab, or am I barking up the wrong tree !!!!
Any help with this wonderfull software would be appreciated as I have used it in the past to great effect.

obviously you didn't try a search. there is a huge thread in the advanced forum for doing DVD-DVD conversions, doing it from an AVI shouldn't be much different.
