I have sucessfully created a DivX avi file using Gordian Knot.
I now want to make an autorun.inf file that will start Windows Media player 9 in FULLSCREEN mode and then start playing the avi file.
I am sure that this is very simple, but I have not been able to get it to work!
Please help.
Cheers.

As far as I know, you can only do that with WMP 6.4 (mplayer2.exe). WMP 7+, I believe, the answer is, "No."

The reason I like Windows media Player 9 is that it allows me to adjust the brightness and contrast when I playback a DivX avi file.
mplayer2 does not allow you to do this.
Does the player that comes with the DivX codec have this facility?
If so, could someone tell me how to configure an autorun.inf file that will start the player FULLSCREEN.
Cheers.

I happen to prefer BSPlayer to WMP; it's a personal preference. You can start fullscreen from .ini files, and it has a great deal of flexibility. I don't have access to it at the moment, so can't confirm on contrast/brightness. Another popular player among members here is Zoomplayer. Both are available from www.doom9.org.
