I created MPEG2 Video clips in Video Studio 7 using the standard DVD format (8000 variable bitrate, LPCM audio). I burned a disk using Ulead Movie Factory 2. The DVD plays fine on my computer. On my new Panasonic standalone player, the audio sounds terrible, there's a bunch of wierd buzzing and it sounds like it has been put through one of those robotic voice synthesizers. Sonic MyDVD burns the DVD fine. So I'm assuming it is the DVD burning portion of this program which is dropping the ball. I guess I'll try burning with Nero instead (use Move Factory to create the files). This is a bummer as I like the simplicity of using as few programs as necessary. This program is still a step up from Sonic MyDVD without breaking the bank (just what I'm looking for.)

If anyone has any suggestions about the audio problem it would be appreciated but I don't see any settings in the program that I think would make any difference so I just think it is Movie Factory not getting along with my HP DVD200i as well as the other programs.

I've also had problem swith ULEAD movie factory but most of the time I don't get any audio at all on my standalones. I also had no problems with Sonic MyDVD. I have already tried to use MF to author the DVD files and then burn with Nero(did that last night actually) but the result was the same. I think it is a ULEAD MF problem. what other programs are out there for making DVD disk image files??

Using Movie Factory 2 (Trial) I was able to create the files and burn with Nero and the audio was fine. I hope DVD Lab production release is soon as I'm not going to buying Movie Factory if only half the program reliably works.
