Hi
EDIT: problem solved - noticed cell still time in IFOedit. This is not copied by ifoupdate. I will post a feture request in the IFO/VOB editing tools section to include this.
I wonder if you can help me with a problem. I am trying to reauthor Star Wars 2 Disc 2 (PAL, R2). VTS 2 has vobids that are used multiple times so it is a candidate for authoring by vobid. The VTS is the deleted scenes; PGC 1-7 are the individual scences. Each PGC has 2 vobids, the first is the scene itself and the second is blank. PGC 8 is all the scenes together, using the scene vobids and extra ones interspersed with a title (one frame surrounded by some black frames).
I rip using the latest DoItFast4U beta.
I reconstruct the VTS in Scenarist (and it works perfectly) and author.
I run IfoUpdate in standard mode.
The IFO looks identical (apart from sector addresses) however I have two annoying problems.
1) When the original PGC 8 is played the title frames are 'paused' for a few seconds although they exist for only one frame in the m2v file. In the reauthored version this is lost, they just flash up very quickly. I have examined the original and authored/IFOupdated IFO files to death and cannot see a difference - HELP!!!! This is really annoying.
2) The short vobids are imported into scenarist as stills. For some reason this means that the respective cell in the ifo is marked as cell restricted (value 64). This is preserved (annoyingly) by IFOUpdate, so I have to go and edit them all to 0 in IFOEdit otherwise the stream is paused every time one is encountered. How can I force scenarist to set short clips as video OR can IFOUpdate set all cells to 0 (not restricted).
Thanks
Andy
