Hello everybody!
I've just ended up writing the site in subject: since this is the best forum around about DVD ripping, I think there are many people that can give me some advices..
The bad is that is still only in italian, but I'll translate it ASAP!
:o I promise! :o
The URL is: digilander.libero.it/psychowood (http://digilander.libero.it/psychowood)

Well, I don't speak italian, but you have a lot of picture that seems to take the user step by step through the process and that's a good thing.
But you seem to do all steps manually. Why? Isn't it easier to let GKnot create the .avi that you need for the final muxing?
And I'd use DVDdecrypter instead of SmartRipper, but that's a minor point.

Yes, you're right. The fact is that I've always made everything by hand, and I've always accomplished very good results, and so...
Moreover, I'd like to make people understand "why and how" (at least in general), not only "do so because I say so". I'll enlarge the site after the exams ( :( ).

that's ok... actually i also think that it is better to truly understand how things are working and not only hit random buttons in a few programs you do not understand (:
anyway it should be noted then that it is not a true newbie guide, but rather a guide people already experienced in thos frontend programs should read.

Yep it's really detalied and people intrested on "how things works" will find it useful i think.
Try to point it out on:

www.divax.it
(until the english traslation is not ready)
Another good resource (that you could link on the avisynth generation part) is http://members.lycos.co.uk/alexebasta/ (Alex_e_Basta italian traslation of the entire avisynth.org site)
