okay, first off I've tried just about everything to fix this problem yet i still get it. here is the first one

Avisynth access violation: blah blah blah blah ( everyone knows what this is )

now i never had this problem untill I updated to .28.1 now i tried to revert back to .28 I'm still getting all these errors. I then tried to install that avisynth update, now I get this error when i go to preview:

LoadPlugin "C:\PROGRA~1\GORDIA~1\mpeg2dec3.dll" is not a avisynth 1.0 plugin {C:\PROGRA~1\GORIA~1\Prrview.avs, line 7)

I have enocdeing with this program flawlessly before i updated to .28.1 now everything is messed up. I've tried to install the setups for .28 ( all of them ) and i still keep getting this error.

this happends for any codec used with the .avs files.

any suggestions ?

uninstall everything and do clean install of both rippack 0.28 and codec pack...

I removed everything and reinstalled, still getting the same error. I'm also getting this error again when I have reformated my drive and reinstalled.

I missed the phrase where you said that you installed avs 2.0.8 update.
Make sure to uncheck "use alternative mpeg2dec.dll" in the options tab! Should work just fine

i guess it would help if you posted your avisynth script!

you can take out all lines that start with a # outfront, but first please check which one is line 62 (:

okay by some mirical of god, It looks like its going to work. The problem i was testing around with is with the Noise filters, if i used anything higher than light noise, i would get errors, even in preview. I have noticed with divx files that a noise filter is needed to help the picture look better. right now i have 3 mins left and it hasn't gotten this close in a week.

Maybe there is a bug somewhere about the noise filters. This is also the case after i installed the update patch. No not the beta .28.2 i haven't tried that yet.

Fluxsmooth is not available for YUV2... (medium noise)
C3D is available but sintax may be different (heavy noise)

That's why the errors in avs. It's true that we have limited support for 2.0.8 (and it's only intended for ppl who have issues with avs 2.5.1)

*EDIT*
I meant non YUV2 but avs 2.0.x of course
