View Full Version : What brand of DVD-R's do you use, and why?

I had some trouble with bad playback on one particular stand-alone player, on others it played fine. Killingspree suggested it might have to do with the brand of DVD-R I used (see http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=52319).

I used Verbatim, simply because that was the only brand they had in that particular store, and I didn't know any better :D

My question is: what brand of DVD-R's do YOU use and why.

Thanks in advance,
Andra

Check out the DVD burning forum. (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=60/) This has been the topic of much discussion there. Sift through the information and run some searches. You'll come up with a lot of good material. Good luck.

DVDPRO media is the best of all!
It's not the cheapes and not expensive, but it's more compatible with most DVD players out there!

I use Universal DVD-Rs - theyre fairly cheap, and ive only had 1 or 2 fail on me - usually my fault - they're hard to find in the US though :(
