I am using the Gknot 2.7.1 package and I have tried to encode Office Space several times with it, and whenever I playback the final product that Nandub makes, I will randomly get these minor video errors, one or two per encode. The errors look like either a) tint changes and the video looks red or blue, or b) a second or two of blockiness. Almost always these appear all near each other, but not in the same place in the movie. So the first time it was during the scene where they destroy the printer, and the second was when Peter is in his car with Jennifer Aniston. Is there a way I can make an encode that is sure to be free of these imperfections? Or am I doomed to watch this movie again and again until I find nothing wrong with my latest Divx encode? Thanks.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I am a total gknot newb, so I expect I managed to miss the correct forum for this question. If so, go ahead and move it. I gotta learn somehow.

what were your gknots settings?
did you check the source (vob files, avisynth script) if it shows these glitches?
:logfile: :)
are you really using .27.1? or rather .28.1 if it is the latter you might want to try to 'downgrade' to .28 as the .28.1 version seems to have some problems and has officially been pulled back. if you are still using a .27 version pls upgrade!

oh and yes i guess it is the right forum to post in!

The glitches are not in the ripped vobs. What is the avisynth? I don't remember using that if it was an external program like Nandub. And what gknot settings do you need?

I double-checked and found I'm using gknot 2.6.1 beta. I'd download 2.8 if I had any kind of Internet at home. But I'd like to find a solution that doesn't require downloading a new program if it is possible.
