I have a 13 seconds animated menu which is set at the 8 seconds mark to loop that doesn't seem to work right. The animated menu plays and loops only once from the 8 seconds mark, then goes on to play whatever button is selected. I want it to continue looping from the 8 seconds mark until I activated one of the buttons. Anyone knows what i'm doing wrong?
TIA
I answered this for you on your DVDRhelp.com post: http://www.dvdrhelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=523528&highlight=arky#523528 , but here's the answer again, anyway:
Sounds a little strange to me. The controls for looping, as you are probably aware, are located at the bottom of the menu editor (I'm assuming you're not using it in the 'compact' view). It's odd that it's only looping once. Usually, I'd expect it to be all or nothing, unless you were doing SPRM programming etc.
If you still have problems, repost, and I, or someone else, will be sure to help you out, on either forum.
Arky ;o)

Thanks Arky.. I'll reply here and let the one at dvdrhelp die.
Yes, I set the slider to where I wanted the loop to start then selected loop under End State, isn't that all I need? Also, menu timeout under Command Sequences, what's supposed to be the target? I leave it blank. I'm using exported to avi flash files for my animated menus, I doubt that's the problem though. And pls forgive my ignorance, what's SPRM?
TIA

u r using avi files for your menus? Try with mpeg files. It works for me and mpeg always.
SPRM are internal standalone registers that r used to hold the status of the movie playing such as pgc, vob set, audio no, sub no etc.

I'm already using .m2v file in maestro... from flash -> avi -> m2v.

Double click on the suspect menu. Choose the buttons tab. Towards the bottom there's a check box for auto action.

I figured out what was wrong, it was powerdvd. I tried it on my standalone and it worked fine.:)
