Memtest86

HI there,

i've just posted a thread in dvd2svcd advanced and the program is crashing for me.

I was told by a mod to use memtest86, but thats all they said. I have the program on floppy and loaded it, but the prog kept running test after test for over 30 mins, and i just cancelled it in end.

The mods are telling me that i have a hardware problem, this is why dvd2svcd keeps crashing.

Can someone help me out plz?

Can you please be more specific as to your hardware setup, softwares, and the circumstances prior to the aforementioned problem of yours? I don't use dvd2svcd so I can't help you with anything on the proggy. But if this thingy is hardware-related, I'm sure there'll be a couple of people who can help you shed some light on the problem. You just need to provide more info so we can glean something out of it. There may not be a one-shot solution, but at least give us something to start with. I assume you already know why you were advised to use memtest86?
