I have Gknot .28 beta 4 installed and would like to Upgrade to Gknot .28 - I have a couple of quick questions:

1- Do I have to uninstall .28b4 before installing .28 or do I just install over the old version (I had all the apps/codecs from .28b4 installed)

2- If I uninstall Gknot will all the Apps that were installed with it be automatically removed or do I have to go to each one and uninstall it manually one by one.

3- What is the 'Delete Registry Keys' button in the 'Options' tab do?

4- The Codecpack does not seem to have an uninstaller, so therefore I assume that I have to go to each codec and uninstall it individually in order to remove these?

5- Finally, I remember there was an install order for .28b4. Does it still apply for .28 and if so what is it (Rippack then Codecpack?). Why would there be a need for an install order anyway?

Thank you The Wef and everybody who has to contributed to Gknot for a wonderful piece of software.

1-You don’t have to uninstall 0.28b4 before installing 0.28 but it will be much better.

2-If you uninstall GK all the apps will be removed automatically.

3-The delete registry keys refer to the options of GK that are stored in the registry. If you delete them then GK will start again with it’s default options. There is no need to delete them to upgrade.

4-Concerning the codecs, if you have for example DivX 5.02 and want to upgrade to DivX 5.05 then just uninstall the DivX codec and install the new one. The same goes with XviD. There no need to uninstall all of them and then install them again.

5-The install order is not important.
