Can you tell me (in detail)how i can cut the movie with meastro?

It seems not to be very easy, maestro is such a fully feature-packed software i cannot figure out how i can cut video and audio files with it.

thanks in advance ;)

As far as I know there is no tool in Maestro for cutting/editting assets - its an authoring tool not an editting tool. I know you can cut .mpv files with Womble's MPEG2VCR and there's lots of tools in Doom9s download section for cutting AC3 files.

After u remove any portions that u dont want u rightclick on the audio timeline and select 'Sync Audio'. U specify in the following scene the audio to much the original video and u end up with an edited audio to place.

ok ok it worked,

but:

only with the first part
the second part i created out of the file was out of sync after aprox. 1/4 of the created part.

so is there a "really" perfect quality and 100% working method to cut my Videofile including 2 ac3 audio tracks?

desperately seeking for answers :(

what kind of audio was the 2nd stream? Was it demuxed from the same source. Is it something else? Sync Audio never failed me in syncying the audio with its video.

Its a rip from my 2sided Starship Troopers DVD
I merged it with "AVI MPEG RM Joiner"
Created a new IFO file with IFOedit
Then demuxed the 2 audio tracks German + English AC3
Downsampled the AC3 tracks with "AC3 Machine" to 224k/bit
Encoded the Video track with DVD2SVCD inc. CCE 2.5

But its not a AC3 downsampling problem because its the same with the original extracted audio tracks.

Because every other attempt to cut the whole track into 3 700mb parts for creating a miniDVD failed me because Maestro didn´t accepted to import the cutted files i thought okay then lets do Maestro itself the work but it seems Maestro is buggin´ me again with this out of sync problem.

Therefore i need either a matching "Maestro how to do" or a Maestro supporting Programs version.
