A few days ago I came across this player. It is very good. It has an interface Winamp-like. Many features (keep reading). And of course: Totally free.
It comes in many languages. Made by the same people that made Subtitle Workshop.

Here is what it is commented in the Official Homepage (http://urusoft.cjb.net/), where the player can be downloaded:

Thanks for making me aware of this. I'm not really used to the winamp-like controls for movies, but it's a pretty tight player as far as I can tell so far. It might replace Zoomplayer for me since I can't get it to load seperated subtitles.

Is it able to play (S)VCDs directly from .bin/.cue files like Mplayer or (with Elecard installed) Mediaplayer Classic?
This is a feature I REALLY like.

I donīt know and since I donīt have any .cue/.bin file here, I cannot test it.

But you can download, install, try if it works and if not you uninstall (and if it works, you tell us here ;) ).

BTW, the current version of the program is now 2.08.

Is my favorite player.
Nice subtitles with auto resizing, and if they are both on the black bars and on the movie, I can move the image of the movie up so I get the subtitles only on black bars.
And PowerDVD skin.

Find a copy of powerdvds CLVSD.ax, which is in : program files\cyberlink\Shared Files\VideoFilter\ : and put the file into viplay\filter\ folder and register it.

thats all you need to be able to watch DVD`s of an original disc
