I'm using dvd2svcd 113b2 with avisynth 2.51...
I'm trying to convert a dvd wich is 29-9 Fps, interlaced.
I choose the blendfields in the deinterlace, and tag the NTSC to PAL button, the movie cames out OK, no video or audio problems...
But the subtitles came out of synch.
How can i "force" the subtitles to 25 Fps?
are you using selectable or permanent subs? , if permanent show the script ( avs ) file.

Hmmm... i was wondering... if i use the inverse telecine instead of forcing the movie to PAL, will i get the problem solved?
I'm asking this because, what i want to convert is about 3 and half hours long, and on the IVTC tag there's a warning that the process will be slow as hell... So i really will only try this if i'm sure the process will succeed.
Cheers.
just make a short test just rip and convert one or two chapters that you know you have chapters.... test it with cvd subs and fixed ones after compare the results and report back.
PS: after making the test encodes also compare and post the file subtitles.ini to see if there are any diferences .... atm i can not remember anything else that might help you....

Well... "it seems the slow as hell" warning is just refering to DVD2AVI doing the IVTC, the movie compressed @ normal speed.
I'm still not sure if the subtitles are synch, because i don't understand a bit of japanese, but looking @ the action in the movie, some subtitles, seem correct, but other don't make much sense (appear too soon or too late). Probably it's translation problems.
But the subtitles in the last disc seemed fairly synch.
Well, anyway thx for the answering this thread Clixo.
Cheers.
