Hi Fellows, I don't know which category to put this question in as there is no specific category for DVDx2.2. I am trying to backup a DVD on VCD using Smart ripper 2.41 and then using DVDx 2.2 to create MPEG file out of this. But when the MPEG file is ready then the sound is jerky in the sense that for a second it is OK then it goes down for a second then it's up next second.

Any reasons or any work around ? I noticed onething while preparing to encode VOB file that when I selected my IFO file then in the INPUT settings, AUDIO section showed - "??? AC3 (0x80) " ...What's this question marks for ? COuld it be the cause of Jerky sound.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx

P.S. : I am using smart ripper 2.41 and DVDx 2.2 for DVD to VCD conversion.

yes this is being worked on. does not happen with all dvds of course.

try turning off a/v sync. the movie probably wont be in sync then but if you are making n avi you can readjust it by streaming through virtualdub and adjusting the audio start time.

if you load a vob rather than the ifo then there is not any language info to use, so you get ????. if you get that with loading an ifo then it means that the language was not recognised.
