How can I convert a txt file to any format supported by IFOedit?
Original txt file format:
00:00:24:00 00:00:28:00 who are you?
00:00:28:00 00:00:32:00 BENNY
00:00:32:00 00:00:36:00 where are you come from

What can I do?

You must use an authoring tool, IfoEdit does not turn text into subpictures. Neither can it convert text to closed captions (for that matter, it cannot mux a CC stream into the video).

Never done it before and I have read the guide for ifoedit and authoring. It doesn't say what format the subs should be, only that u can rip them using vobedit.
If I were u I would rip a subtitle stream from one of my dvds and study its structure. I would try vobsub, subtitle studio, subrip to check if I can extract an ifoedit compatible sub file.
