View Full Version : DivX5Enc Error - Invalid format in "vdenc.log", line 1
Yep, i'm getting that error in DivX5Enc when i do a compressibility test. Anybody know why?
EDIT: I'm using VDubMod 1.5.1.1a and DivX5Enc 1.11.

What version of DivX are you using. jonny designed the app for DivX5.03 and it is quite likely you'll run into problems if you are using 5.05
The problem is a slightly modified format for vdenc.log in the latest VDubMod version, since i'm not going to update DivX5Enc, you can:
- use VirtualDubMod 1.4.13.2 or VirtualDubMod 1.4.13.1+VirtualDubMod_310103.zip (using D5E, there will be no real difference from 1.4 to 1.5)
- try my new app "Enc" (this problem is already fixed)
Also some quotes from my site:
Note: use this tool in combination with the DivX-VirtualDub versions i specify.
* v1.11 DivX 5.0.3 support!
- DivX 5.0.3 + VirtualDubMod 1.4.13.1 + VirtualDubMod_310103.zip -
Note: You need VirtualDubMod 1.4.13.1 + the latest VirtualDubMod bugfix/cvs (VirtualDubMod_310103.zip).
NOTE: YOU NEED VirtualDubMod_310103.zip TO RUN COMPRESSIBILITY TEST AND SIZE PREDICTION, GO TO:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/virtualdubmod
[View ALL Project Files]
VirtualDubMod_310103.zip (at the bottom of the page)
This is the latest bugfix/cvs release, you need to replace your original .exe with this one.
This will solve all the problems related to "vdenc.log".
:rolleyes:
