I've been using vidomi with xvid for a while now without any problems but want to try a newer version of the codec now. I've tried several recent builds from 2003 but all of them result in a green messed up image. I even tried it on a fresh computer with no other codecs but xvid and ffdshow and got the same result. Is it possible that vidomi just doesn't work with the newer builds, as it is no longer being developed.
Also, any programs I should check out to replace vidomi? I like it because it is extremely easy to add files to the queue, submit them to an encode server, then have several computers encode them. I've never had a problem with the results, and have so many things I'm encoding I don't want to mess around doing it more manually (I do know how though).
