Hi there, ive ripped like a 200 dvd's by now, but now i have a problem i cant solve with ninja scroll.

i always follow the guides at doom9 voor divx/xvid. I've encoded the movie like 3 times now and the audio still isn't in sync. It comes slightly to early. (tried divx aswell as xvid)

Any maybe any ideas what i am doing wrong ?

i am using gordian knot 0,28.1 with codecpack 1.2 and i follow the latest guides.

Also when i choose for 2 audio tracks (englisch en japanese) both are not in sync.

Txs in advance

Hi-

You might not be doing anything wrong. But it's easy enough to fix, though. Just open the completed .avi in Nandub and then Direct Stream Copy both the Audio and the Video. Then enter Audio-Interleaving, adjust the delay for both audio streams, and then Save with a different name.

Hi, i understand what your saying.

Dvd2avi tells me when demuxing the audio (also dvd decrypter does) that the delay is 0ms.

But this is obviously not right. Is there a smart way to find out the delay without guessing ?

Hi-

Is there a smart way to find out the delay without guessing ?

If there is, I don't know about it. It might take 3 or 4 tries to get it just right. If it seems like the audio starts half a second too early, then start with 500 ms and then listen to the result and adjust from there.
