hope this belongs in this thread.

i've used DVD2SVCD or a while now, but recently i've been having problems with burning the last bin/cue disc to cd (with the last disc picture option on). i've tried using Blindwrite & Nero to burn it off. in both cases, it would go to 99% completion then just suddenly stops (the disc in the tray is still spinning and i can't eject the disc), and the only way to get the disc out is to turn of the computer and turn it back on (restart doesn't work).

i've tried using vcdeasy (making a another picture to use as my last disc), placing the movie_demux_01.mpg (i think thats what it's called), adding the lastdisc.mpg, adding chapters. then tried burning ot off...still no luck, same thing.

with that not working, i've tried making another one with vcdeasy, but this time with no lastdisc.mpg. tried burning it off...wala, it worked.

the thing is, if i reinstall DVD2SVCD, i can rip 1 movie with no last bin/cue disc problem. then it starts to screw up again.

the first bin/cue disc (or second if its a 3 disc, etc.), burns fine with no problem.

so anyone know what could be the problem? is it my burner (i got a 44x Yamaha Burner), or is it my cdrs (i use 48x Maxell), or is my computer screwed up (from all the things i've installed & downloaded)...

any ideas would help.

Maybe the resulting track with the lastdisc.mpg on it is just too big?
Its normally only a few 100 kbs big, but couldn't it be that this is too much in this special case?

Just a small suggestion: Use CD-RWs instead of CD-Rs until you get a working copy, and then transfer to CD-R if desired. This way, you'll avoid coasters if something goes wrong.
