jerky playback of rip. 20fps?!?!

i've recently encoded a movie in xvid using virtualdub, but for some reason the resulting encode jerks around a bit and on closer inspection it turns out that it's only running a framerate of 20fps. i've followed the same procedure as i've used for earlier encodes but have never encountered this problem before.

I assume you're using DVD2AVI and Avisynth?

In that case, you've most likely activated Force Film by mistake when you saved the project.

yeah, looks like i'd checked that option.

just started another encode so hopefully that'll do the trick.

got to go back and check my other rips now too :( luckily they're all short vids :)
