Hi all,
as a Newbie i tried Pinnacle Studio 8 and DVDLAB, the latter with good success playing my menues on my standalone (Metz DG71). With the Studio 8 generated DVD's the navigation was very reluctant (the reaction pressing the cursor keys or the Select key was only by chance). On another Player (Cyberhome) the menues played well).

Creating the menues, i miss a feature. I want to have a different action reaching the end of a chapter (title) depending on the entrance to the Chapter (title). If the Chapter was reached sequentially from the foregoing chapter it should play the next chapter. But if the chapter was selected from a menue, it should return to the menue. This seems to me a quite naturally behaviour for music DVD's or e.g. a travel video, visiting several places, which can be selected through a menue.

How can i accomplish such a feature?
Is this feasible with the programs above?
Which other programs can do this?

Any help is appreciated!

There're virtually two really powerfull progs for DVD-Authoring:
Sonic Scenarist and DVD Maestro. But they're not freeware. They allow you to do everything what a DVD-Standart can offer. The decision is up to you...
