Hi!

VCDXBuild failed. The following message occurs in the VCXBuilder_log.txt file:

You have multiple copies of cygwin1.dll on your system.
Search for cygwin1.dll using the Windows Start->Find/Search facility
and delete all but the most recent version. The most recent version *should*
reside in x:\cygwin\bin, where 'x' is the drive on which you have
installed the cygwin distribution.

What can i do, i obviously use many other apps that use cygwin.dll, but they all work with their own copy of cygwin1.dll in their own directories.

Any ideas?

Thankx,
Fireball

Just guessing completely here, but check and see if one is in your windows system or system32 directory. For the program to "see" multiple version, it seems to me that one must be in a common directory. If so, rename the one in the common directory and see if that makes a difference. Also, check for multiple versions in the DVD2SVCD directory. As said, just guessing and throwing out something for you to check. I have never had this problem before.

The problem occurs since I installed the cygwin distribution from cygwin.com.

direct link http://cygwin.com/setup.exe

Perhaps someone can check this...

I got a solution. I just had the same problem, and downloaded the newes (unstable) vcdxbuild from vcdimager.org Download Area (http://www.vcdimager.org/pub/vcdimager/vcdimager-0.7_UNSTABLE/vcdimager-0.7.8.win32.zip)
This one works, I just gave it the command line from the dvd2svcd_log.txt.

Cheers
