I have AVI files and I'm encoding them to MPEG-1 (CBR). I noticed that audio is in sync when playing on a PC but gets out of sync on a standalone DVD player. This is random, some files encode fine first time. I found out that the only solution is tho adjust the VBV size and reencode the file. Sometimes I have to do this 3-4 times before it works. The problem is it takes too long to find the right size. I wonder if there is any solution to this ?
