I have spent the last week looking through the guides and forums trying to figure out how to do this on my own, because I am stubborn and don't like help, but I can't figure it out.

I have a DVD that has parts I want to get rid of. What I have done thus far is rip using either Smartripper or DVDecrypter selecting stream processing demuxing so I get two files when done. AC3, and M2V. I have then tried combining them with TMPGEnc, and bbMPEG to form an mpg to which I can use Pinnacle or whatever to edit the segments out. The problem is the audio seems to be atleast a half second behind. I feel like their must be some setting I am missing or something. The AC3 file after being ripped does have the delay in the title as well (677ms) Any suggestions would be great. In the end all I want to do is be able to edit these segments out, and turn this 40 DVD colleciton into a 25 or 30 or so. Thanks in advance

Would anyone be willing to take one of the dvd's I have rip it, take out the segments I don't want and then put it back onto dvd if I paid them? Then tell me how you did it? I would make it worth your while.

Thanks

Have you tryed any dvd copy programs for doing that?

E.g. DVD X Copy (http://www.dvdxcopy.net/)

Well i don't understand why u want to cut out the segments.
And it is always silly to transform m2v ac3 to some mpeg format unless u are making dvd.
