Insert a "Please change disc" still image when splitting into 2 DVD

Hi FORUM,
i'm making a backup of the movie Apollo13 but, even if i keep the main movie and my audio language only the space required is too large.
So i've decided to split the movie into 2 DVD.
Once i've stripped all the extra, i follow the Derrow method with IFOEDIT obtaining a backup splitted in 2 DVD.
Now i have a couple of question:

1- Is it possible to insert a still image at the end of disc 1 (and at the beginning of disc 2) which says something like "End of disc 1 please insert disc 2" for disc 1 and "beginning of disc 2" (or whatever else)?
These still images should last some seconds.
Is there any method to do that?

2- When i split the movie to 2 DVD the first disc contains chapter from 1 to 32, while the second from chapter 32 to the end of the movie. When i play it with the IfoEdit player, both discs still contain the whole chapter list. I've fixed disc 1 adjusting the video_ts.ifo\number of chapter and now the chapter list stops at 32 but i don't know how to fix the second disk starting chapter (chapter 33). Infact, if a play disc 2 and i skip to any chapter between 1 and 33 the movie plays always from the same point (beginning of chapter 33).

The same problem as mine.
Yesterday I tried to correct chapters in disc2 of Monsters Inc., but they always begin from the same point. I have to sum the disc1 total chapters to jump to the correct disc2 chapters.
I think there is some key in IfoEdit which enables to retouch this info. But where?
And then, sometimes I can correct successfully the chapters in disc2, others not. Why?
