Ok, I've had this problem for some time so I am not sure WHY it's happening, but everytime I try to start a program via Gknot it gives me this error:
Before you can use this you have to put "PROGRAMNAME.exe" into your GKnot-folder!
Now I'm 100% sure the files are there, they even work if I just run them normally.. Can anybody explain what I can do about this? I've tried cleaning registry, reinstalling, etc.. Nothing helps :(

Sorry, I don't know what your trouble is.
You might click on the Encoder tab, then the Add Job button, then the second Encoder tab, and look at the location of VdubMod there.
One guess: you are not using the default install location.
By the way, earlier versions of Gknot default to the
C:\Program Files\Gordianknot
folder. But at 0.28, the default became:
C:\Program Files\Gordian Knot
----
I hope this helped!

I have already done that as well..
That's not the problem, I can't use the "Open" button at the bottom left, because then it gives me an error that mpeg2dec3.dll should be in the gknot folder, but IT IS.
The same thing goes for DVDDecrypter, vStrip and DVD2AVI..
I will try to reinstall into the default dir, cuz this problem is driving me nuts..

hmmm... try to use an install path with no spaces in the folder name.
for unknown reasons this causes problems on a few systems. usually spaces are no problem.

Well I installed to:
C:\Program Files\Gordian Knot\
which has spaces as well, but the program finally works again! w00h00! I wonder what the problem was, before I installed it to:
D:\Apps\Media\Ripping\GordianKnot\
