Hi all
I use DVD Shrink and absolutely love it - so far it has made me a dozen or so perfect copies with none of the stutter or loop errors that are discussed elsewhere. :D
I almost always use the movie only mode, and I go into customize streams menu to remove everything I can to allow less compression. I know this is a minor query compared to the detailed tech queries posted elsewhere, but I was wondering how to locate and identify the correct subtitle streams?
Example: I have just done Die Another Day and XXX, both of which look and sound great and playback perfectly. But I have noticed that all the movies I have made start playback with subtitle track 1 engaged; the only way to get on screen narrative subtitles off -but "caption" subtitles (such as a location) to appear - is to cycle throught the subtitle tracks on my Pioneer player until I reach the Subtitle Track:Off mode, which in the case of Die Another Day was a pain cos there were eleven subtitle tracks!!
Seeing as I only actually want the "caption" subtitles and no narrative whatsoever, how can I locate them? I don't want any other subtitles at all, so it should be possible...
Whilst I love DVDShrink and this is only a minor gripe (it just means pausing and pressing Subtitle button a few times) it would be cool if I could author so that Subtitle Track:Off would be the default.
Hope anyone can help, and thanks in advance.
