Video-Audio Offset

I've demuxed some VOBs and importet the streams into Scenarist. When encoding the files, there is a slight offset between audio and video (audio first, then video). I've no idea how long this offset really is. Is there a possibility to find out, maybe in the .IFO file? The audio-track is a few seconds shorter than the video track, but when i align the end of the video track with the end of the audio track, it's about the same offset again - but in the other direction (video first, then audio).

Hi,

one way to find out the audio delay time is to open your vob file in VobEdit and select "Get audio/video delay" from the menu. This will show you the delay between audio and video pts of your vobfile.
