Hi,
I am not sure if this is the right forum but here is the problem.
I have an AVI movie (Hero). When played I can see the movie but no sound. When the movie is loaded into WMP 9, it gives me an error regarding the audio codec and that it failed to download the required codec and not much more information regarding the problem. I think the audio is in AC3 format. I will probably need a codec to make it work but what is the correct codec? Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Is it a good idea to dowload Nimo's codec pack and install that? Can you choose what codecs to install during the installation of Nimo's codec pack?

EDITTED: I downloaded the following filter and now I have sound too. here is the filter AC3Filter ver 0.68b .
