I threw out a very rough idea (thread below) for comments or programming volunteers. I just really think we need another approach to a front-end for BeSweet. I really respect DD's work a lot but I think that GUI is too complex and bewildering for many (IMO).

DVX can already be used as BeSweet GUI, Windows shell integration like commandline, Drag & Drop etc. is supported. I think Dark Cracker made also a BeSweet GUI

@Dolemite, I am looking for more of a standalone audio encoding app that can be tailored for the needs of the user, plus I still have that silly prehistoric fear of net apps :)

@sezz, put me down to test for you. I look forward to seeing your work.

simply question, do you really think
C# won't be the most popular language
in the future? I can tell you without
any doubt it will be. Did you realize
the IC#Code (http://www.icsharpcode.net) people and the mono (http://www.go-mono.com) people
work together and how much progress
they make? If you are not a .NET
programmer probably not but I can tell
you they make tons of progress.

That was kinda the reason I acknowledged a "silly prehistoric fear" :)

However, when I installed it on another machine some time ago to look at your app, Net set up a private login account without informing me. That made me a little crazy. BTW, your app is the only one good enough that I have seen so far that would want to make me install it again. :)

DDogg: My BeSweet GUI does also require the .NET Framework...

But I'll try to add all the features you wanted, so that you'll have to install the framework again :p

heh, yep, looks like I am just going to have to "bite the bullet" and install the darn thing again. Oh well, I might as well get with the program and see the future.

(It's next to to the FlashGet "DropZone" (FlashGet is the download manager I use..))

I think, that I will release the first (public?) beta within the next 2 or 3 weeks!
