When I uncheck this setting (meaning I want the files deleted) only the muxed file is deleted. Why aren't the audio and video files also deleted?

Hello!

If you donīt check 'donīt delete any files' it doesnīt implement that every file that could be deleted, gets deleted. If so, dvd2svcd would have called it 'delete every unneeded file'.
Deleting the audio and the video file wouldnīt even bring a lot of disc space, since for every image one muxed file gets deleted.
-Now you have a maximum of all the files + the muxed files + 1 image. With your method you would have a maximum of all files + the muxed files.
-Now you can recover from muxing and cutting, with your method you wouldnīt be able to recover.
I think, that are the main reasons, dvd2svcd made it so.
If there is no way around deleting the files for you, you can try creating a batch file to delete them, and calling it along with VCDEasy.
